Here I am, 4 weeks back in my homeland.
I turned on the news and a lot is going on. From the never-seem-to-end Anwar case to baby dumping and of course the political differences that seem to highlight the the Malaysians differences.
To be honest, why is our differences being politicised? And the news depiction often very suggestive about fraction among Malaysian due to the differences. May I humbly remind that Malaysia is a country adored by most because of the harmony created among the differences.
In reality, most if not every Malaysians are really respectful and understanding. Contrary to what has been cooked up in the media, we still love each other and respect others. Many a times I have been touched by the concern of my non Malay, non Muslim comrades. They try to accomodates my needs as well as being very respectful to my restrictions. And reciprocally I try to do the same to them.
Albeit all those, we still have the same fun, the same worry and giving each other comfort.
With all the love Malaysians have, why must we only focused on the bad news and the disadvantages without really evaluating the goods we already have.
Seriously, I love Malaysia and the way we live. Please do not ruin this and start planting doubt seed among the harmony that we already enjoyed for years. For any rational person can predict doom if this continues.
